9:30 club

We've gotten old, Chris and I.

Back in October of 1999, we went to our first concert at the 9:30 club. We hadn't even officially started dating yet, but I knew Chris wanted to see Rage Against the Machine play there.

I wooed him. My dad's friend is one of the co-owners of the club, and I begged him to give me two tickets. I was so thankful when he told me he had them for me.

My dad's friend sent this onesie for Ben, and it's a little surreal to me that my kid is wearing a shirt bearing the logo of the place his dad and I were at almost 8 years ago. Life is funny.
