Ben's a pretty relaxed baby. When I put him in his high chair to feed him, I give him his food in stages, so he can pick the food up and feed himself. While he eats, he watches me mill around the kitchen, washing dishes or wiping down the counters.

I decided to record him today while we were in the kitchen. Check out how he hams it up about 25 seconds in, when he sees himself. I couldn't help but laugh.



And below, this boy knows how to charm his mama. The kid melts my heart every time he smiles at me. Of course he can turn it off pretty quickly when he realizes there's food to be eaten. Just like his mother. Oh and by the way, that's Bob Dylan wailing in the background. Sorry about that.
