the people in our neighborhood.

First of all, thanks to all of you who voted for Miss Sophie! Currently she's in first place, even beating out the October 5 pug who is way cuter.

This morning Ben and I went to get breakfast and on our way back we spotted this scene. There's a bunch of renovation being done throughout the neighborhood, especially on Passyunk Avenue. That's the main street in our neighborhood and it's going through a revitalization of sorts.


This guy lives a few blocks away from us and sets up his chair at various places around the neighborhood. Most spring and summer days, we'll see him sleeping, mouth wide open and oblivious to everything that's going on around him. This morning we saw him 'overseeing' the remodeling of a new storefront - a hardware store that everyone's excited about. He's cute.


We sat out front for a bit before Ben's nap this morning (he's still not asleep - chatting away in his crib as I type this) and he hammed it up for the camera.
