getting ready.

Today, Ben didn't nap. He's probably just really excited for tomorrow, but I really wish he'd slept a little. We put him down for a nap this morning, but he just sang in his crib for an hour and a half. Then, this afternoon we went to the Reifs' for the April birthdays celebration, and he didn't sleep at all there. We came home at around 4, and he fell asleep in the car on the way home. He was so tired that he hardly woke up when we walked into the house, and then he fell asleep on Chris' chest.


The March of Dimes walk is tomorrow morning, and we're getting our house presentable for our friends and family tomorrow. After the walk, people are coming back here to sit back and relax (and eat) after the 6-mile walk. We're really excited to be with everybody. I just hope the weather cooperates.

Thanks to everyone who donated! We surpassed our goal this year! I was a little nervous at first, but in the end we pulled through and went over. This is thanks in large part to Aunt Dori's school. She teaches at an elementary school in New Jersey and all of the students brought in dimes and loose change to raise money for Ben's Friends. Aunt Dori says that there were fliers all over the school with Ben's 'before and after' pictures, so that the students could see 'who' they were raising money for. There was a competition between the classes and she said the kids really had a good time. The school raised a total of $378.30!
