july 4th

We are visiting my mom and stepdad for the holiday weekend. Today we sat around a bunch waiting for Ben to get a decent nap, but when he finally got up we went to the boardwalk.

We took him on a train ride for little kids, but the whistle was loud and that really freaked him out. He was fine on it, though, other than that. He was shy though. We think he's like his dad - doesn't love huge crowds and loud rides.


After the train ride we went over to a truck ride for kids. Chris went on that one with him and it was a big hit.


Those two rides took all but one of the tickets we bought for 15 dollars. Unbelievable.


We took a walk down the rest of the boardwalk and Ben had fun trying to climb fences, and hanging with Dad.
