catching up

Ben was a dinosaur for Halloween. He got dressed up on Friday the 30th for school, and they had a parade for the kids to march in. I don't think he really 'got' Halloween, and he wasn't so sure about it all.


He was happy when he saw his Daddy though.


Saturday he went trick-or-treating with his cousins while I hung back at the house with Ryan. I'll have to get the pictures from Chris and post them here.

Ben has been on a hunger strike lately. It's a huge victory if we can get him to eat an entire peanut butter & jelly sandwich.


... while Ryan had his first bit of rice cereal. He wasn't so sure about it.


Yesterday the weather was so nice that we took a long walk. Ben hasn't been sleeping very well lately so we were hoping he'd nap on the long walk - but no such luck.

We walked up to our old neighborhood and had some pizza on a bench in the park.


And ran around and had fun...


while Ryan watched.
