Ben took a quick morning nap today and a long afternoon one, but when he woke up he was in a mood. He is so similar to Chris and me, depending on when you catch him. I am famished when I wake up in the morning and so is he. Chris takes awhile to wake up in the morning, and Ben wakes quickly but takes forever to cheer up. It's like he's sad he has to face another day or something. No snickers, please.

The other day we took these pictures on the computer. Ben was giggling at himself.

Tuesday we went to Chuck E. Cheese with Auntie D and the two CBots. It was okay for the first few minutes, but there isn't a ton of stuff for Ben and Cambelle to do there. That and about 15 minutes after we got there, several busloads of children came through the door. We headed elsewhere for lunch. It was a good day.

Yesterday, Ben and I visited Casey and Aunt Jami. Casey has the cutest cheeks and she was so much fun to hold. She doesn't like naps so much, her mom says, because she doesn't want to miss anything. She seemed curious enough about Ben, so he showed off for her.


Aunt Jami and Uncle Mike got Ben the coolest Christmas present! Huge blocks - cardboard blocks that you fold up and put together. When I first looked at the directions it looked like rocket science, but putting them together is actually pretty easy. Ben loves them.

After working hard, Ben loves to take a swig. He always makes a fist with his free hand when he drinks. It's a little Ben-ism.
