My dad gave Ben a baseball autographed by the entire Washington Senators team ... It was given to my dad when he was 12 years old and he passed it along to Ben awhile back. It's in a protective display case and has lots of history and family stories to go along with it. We have to keep it high up on a shelf, because more than once Ben has tried to play with it.

Recently my dad found an article written about one of the players on the team, and he sent it up to Ben with a letter telling him about the ball. It's really a special gift from a grandfather to a grandson. We put the letter in Ben's memory box. Here, Ben thanks Granddaddy (and says hi to Grandmommy).
